Fundraising in memory of Belinda Wise
My Story
Our mum Belinda passed away peacefully in the loving care of Blackpool Victoria Hospital's Haematology ward, on 11 August 2024. We would like to ask for donations to the ward in lieu of flowers.
The staff on the ward couldn't have done enough for mum, or for us, in her final days. The Blue Skies hospital fund at BVH helps to fund some of the things that made us so comfortable at the most difficult time, including reclining chairs which enabled us to rest as we stayed overnight. The ward provided food, drinks, showering facilities and space for us to take time out when we needed it. No words could do justice to the kindess shown by all the staff. We are so grateful to everyone at the Haematology ward for their wonderful care at the end of our mum's life.
